1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using ContractMate, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use ContractMate for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ContractMate
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

ContractMate uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption to protect your uploaded documents. Data is encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS and at rest using your chosen document password. Text is extracted server-side to enable AI-powered analysis. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content (excluding user-uploaded contracts), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ContractMate and its licensors. You retain all rights to your uploaded documents.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ContractMate, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance.
